PracticeWise Announces New CEO, Heather Brennan, PhD

PracticeWise is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Brennan, Ph.D. as the new Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Dr. Brennan brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from her impressive track record of success in the health industry.

Prior to joining PracticeWise, Dr. Brennan served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Markets for Establishment Labs (Nasdaq: ESTA). Her previous roles also included Vice President and General Manager of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Vice President of Marketing for MTF Biologics. With her strong background in research and consistent positive business results, Dr. Brennan is well-equipped to lead PracticeWise towards further growth and innovation.

PracticeWise was founded in 2004 with a mission to advance how evidence and information are used to improve the lives of children and families. Working primarily in children’s mental health, PracticeWise supports individuals working with children and families to be more informed and more prepared, through established knowledge management strategies and resources. The company’s comprehensive suite of resources and services includes an evidence-based services database (PWEBS), clinical decision support tools, and training and consultation services.

Dr. Brennan holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. She is a member of several professional organizations, including Chief and the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation.
