PracticeWise knows that ready access to research and protocols is an essential aspect of evidence-based practices in mental health.  That is why we not only create easy access to these important papers and protocols, but we also continue to update our database to provide a comprehensive database to our clients so that they can pass on their knowledge and implement it in helping others attain positive mental health.

What Is the PWEBS Database?

PWEBS is the abbreviation for PracticeWise Evidence-Based Services.  With our built-in search engine, you can narrow down the field of our available papers and protocols to help you find what you are looking for easily and quickly. You can search based on an individual child’s characteristics instead of wading through hundreds of papers that don’t apply to your client.

We know your time is valuable.  PWEBS provides easy access to the latest, updated research information which can help you create treatment plans and give you ideas when you’re stuck.  You can find what you need and get back to applying it to those you are helping.  We are also constantly looking for ways to make our database everything that you need and want it to be.  In that spirit, we are beginning to incorporate studies with transitional age youth (under age 28) in PWEBS. so be on the lookout for these and more as we strive to make our database your go-to resource for evidence-based papers and protocols.

How Many Papers Were Added?

We are very excited to have added a record number of papers in the newest update to our PWEBS Database.  We added 131 papers giving the database a total of 1581 papers.  We added 218 protocols totaling 2773 treatment protocols  With PWEBS+, we offer 136 new papers totaling 1625 and 225 new protocols bringing the total to 2849!

We know that these additional papers and protocols will help all providers who are implementing evidence-based practices in mental health.  The more information available to you in an easy-to-find format, the more prepared you will be to help your clients and patients reach their mental health potential.

If you have come across a paper in your research that is not already included in our database and you believe it should be, then please feel free to send the citation to us at [email protected].  We will review it to determine if it meets the quality standards and criteria to be added to our database.

Why You Should Choose to Use the PWEBS Database
