Position: Associate Training Manager

Founded in 2004, PracticeWise is a dynamic force in youth behavioral health. Position Overview:

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality training and consultation in the Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) system and related curricula (such as the MATCH-ADTC treatment program) to mental health practitioners online and in-person, evaluating materials for those pursuing a credential, and assisting the section manager with planning, delivering, and evaluating section activities. As a trainer, your dedication to professional development, cultural competence, and passion for training diverse audiences will play a crucial role in promoting enhanced quality of care for children and families on a national and international scale. Candidate Characteristics:

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced mental health practitioner with expertise in evidence-supported therapies for youth. They are energized by training and developing fellow professionals who are diverse in their disciplinary foci, years of experience, service delivery settings, and client populations served. They are lifelong learners who understand training to be a collaborative exchange of ideas and, consequently, approach audiences with an attitude of humble curiosity. The ideal candidate for this role conducts themselves in a highly professional manner, works well as part of a collaborative team, and is open to ongoing professional development. They are organized, conscientious, capable at managing their responsibilities independently, effective verbal and written communicators, and are adept at meeting the unique demands associated with remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve proficiency with the PracticeWise system and with our training/consultation model
  • Deliver training online and/or in-person with a consistently high degree of fidelity to internal policies and procedures
  • At times, adapt standard training materials so they are tailored for specific audiences
  • Provide ongoing group consultation to workshop participants via Zoom
  • Conduct portfolio reviews for those pursuing credential; assist with overseeing QA/QI
  • Consult with internal staff and/or external customers as needed to provide subject matter expertise
  • Assist with quality and performance management, including evaluating against benchmarks set by the company, the customer, and/or the position supervisor
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about PracticeWise products, users, and customers

 

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field (PhD, PsyD, CSW, MFT, SW/LCSW, LP or PC)
  • Knowledge and skill with evidence-based behavioral health practices (EBP/EBT/EBS) for child and adolescent populations
  • Strong public speak skills; adept at teaching/training/instructing others
  • Genuine passion for training and developing providers at all levels of professional experience
  • Values ongoing professional development and learning; open to giving and receiving feedback
  • Works effectively with customers and co-workers in a remote team environment
  • High degree of conscientious concern for work quality; strong attention to detail and critical reasoning skills
  • Adept at organizing and coordinating others; can anticipate and respond to team or customer needs
  • Able to effectively manage time/tasks and prioritize multiple responsibilities; self-directed worker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Complete credentials necessary to qualify as Lead MAP Training Professional within twelve (12) months

 

Preferred Qualifications or Experience:

  • At least 1 year in a training or implementation-related role
  • Prior exposure or experience with PracticeWise products and services
  • Experience working with diverse providers in various mental health settings
  • Experience in curriculum design, adult learning, or project management
  • Experience using project management and/or customer relationship management software systems (e.g., Zoho)
  • Cultural competence with regard to underrepresented populations
  • Proficiency in Spanish

 

Work Environment:

Remote work hours are generally Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm ET
Periodic (25%) travel for in-person workshops and/or for company meetings is expected

Compensation:

Base salary commensurate with the market rate and experience. Eligible for full company benefits (PTO, PVT, medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), etc.) per company policy. Performance bonus based on company and individual annual performance.
